Honey bees are responsible for the production of approximately 2/3 of what we eat, and in the Western world they are closely linked to the work of beekeepers, without whom these industrious insects are unable to survive.
The beekeeper's work is based on the ability to carefully and continuously observe the evolution of their hives.
The knowledge acquired to date allows us to find a delicate balance in the maintenance and management of bee colonies, also for production purposes.
The experience of the first visit to an apiary is full of emotions. Hearing the buzz of bees, seeing a hive with up to 50,000 individuals up close, perceiving the scents that emanate from the wax honeycombs filled with honey and pollen, are elements of a reality that amazes and fascinates.
To deepen our knowledge of the life cycle of the superorganism, the theoretical moment leads us to know how bees communicate, their social structure and the roles of workers, drones and the queen bee.
